He found out that the presence of the excessive fat deposits was extremely abnormal and most of which are caused by the lifestyle alterations inflicted by the development of food and agriculture. The introduction of new foods and the eating pattern have led to ingestion and storage of more calories in the body.
The result of Dr Simeons study in both kinds of patients showed that HCG hormone had significant effects on obese individuals. The increased levels of HCG helped them lose weight. This eventually lead to the development of HCG hormone as a weight loss treatment.

Adipose tissue or the abnormal storage of fat tissue in the body is rich in nutrients that are helpful in providing fuel to the mind and body. Since, it is kept in the fat cells the body cannot easily gain access to it and use it as energy.
